Morocco
Morocco
Thanks to its strategic position, Morocco has always been a bridge between Africa and Europe and is a land of meeting and friendship between people from all parts of the world. Here nature shows off the most beautiful sceneries, enhanced by the Mediterranean weather. Physically Morocco is a mixture of various structures: mountains chains which temper the climate, rich plains in the centre and along the shore, and a vast desert in the South with beautiful green oases with abundant palms. Annual sunshine levels are more than 8 hours a day at Agadir, Fez, Marrakesh and Ouarzazate with average temperatures above 21'. But if you feel too hot or too cold you only have to travel a few kilometres. From Marrakech you can go from the snow of the Atlas to the Saharan desert in one single day!
The official language is Arabic (French is widely known, Spanish is spoken in the north) but English is familiar to a large majority of cultivated people and is spoken in the tourist cities.
Marrakech
Marrakech is truly the city of entertainment in Morocco. Its natural beauty lies in the atmosphere and the spectacular location. Marrakech, with the outstanding peaks of the Atlas expanding behind the city, has warm humid summers and shimmering white snowy winters. Marrakechis are well-known for their warmth and sociability, their humor and honesty. To know more about Morocco and the beautiful Marrakech, click here.
